Until the organs of the association are constituted at the first general assembly, its affairs are conducted by the interim board designated in Article 24 of the Statutes. The association is represented by the president of the board. Transactions placing the association under debt or obligation require the joint signature of the president and the treasurer, or of a board member authorised by the president.

The interim board convenes the first general assembly within six months of written notification to the association that the founding declaration, the Statutes and the other documents contain no unlawfulness or deficiency, or that any deficiencies identified have been remedied, and serves until that first general assembly. Under Article 11 of the Statutes, the board to be elected at the first general assembly will consist of five full and five substitute members serving a term of three years.
Secretariat
Under Article 11 of the Statutes, the board appoints a secretary general and other staff where it considers this necessary. The office of secretary general is held by Asst. Prof. Dr. Hakan Koçak.
