The first general assembly of the Turkish Arbitrators Association (TAHAKDER) since its foundation was held at the seat of the association in Ankara on Saturday, 10 October 2026, at 14.00. According to the attendance list, 19 of the 36 members entitled to attend were present, so the quorum was reached at the first meeting and no second meeting will be held on 17 October 2026.
Following the opening, the presiding committee of the general assembly was elected, with Prof. Dr. Nesibe Kurt Konca as chair and Prof. Dr. İbrahim Ermenek and Prof. Dr. Kürşat Göktürk as secretaries. After a moment of silence, the general assembly proceeded to the agenda.
Decisions
The activity report and the final accounts of the interim board were read and discussed, and the interim board was discharged. The estimated budget for the coming term was also discussed and adopted.
The general assembly elected the full and substitute members of the board, the audit committee and the disciplinary committee for a term of three years. Substitute members are listed below in the order in which they were elected. After wishes and proposals from the floor, the agenda was completed and the chair closed the meeting.
